Istället för att utveckla Android-appen mer så släppte ni en fungerande webbläsar version den 26/4.
Det avgjorde vårt inköp då vi uteslutande använder surfplattor/mobiler ute på fältet.
Att då upptäcka att dokumenthanteringen fortfarande inte funkar var inte roligt.

Hur ligger ni till med den biten?
Dropbox har ju lyckats så omöjligt är det inte ;)

Det brådskar på för nu står vi verkligen och stampar eftersom jag inte kan flytta över vissa dokument då dessa behöver fyllas i dagligen.

Adreses of projectmembers for "sharing documents"

Hi there.
I really like all the new PP features and your efforts to make them work.
What I miss in recent months is the propper functionality of already implemented features.
We share a lot of documents without review, just by sending the link. It is a pain that I cannot choose the adresses of projectmembers. Every single adress needs to be copy/pasted out of my adress book.

Sync files to local disk, one way

When travelling the connection to internet is slow or even not available.
I need a sync of files from a selected project to chosen folder on my local computer.
Keeping the same folder structure as on PP.
Automatic updating of new/changed/deleted files/folders but only one way from PP to local disk.
This update starts when logging on to PP or you have the option to turn it off and manually sync the files to your computer.
Note only interested in one way sync from PP.
If I change a file during offline I will save it locally and upload/revise it when I am back in office/online.

Slik tilgangsstyring er lagt opp nå kan man styre tilgang til dokumenter ved å gi en gruppe lese eller skrivetilgang. Det er ikke mulig å nyansere dette grundigere, f.eks hindre mulighet til å opprette mapper, men fortsatt ha mulighet til å legge inn dokumenter. Denne muligheten hadde vært nyttig å ha.

Choose adresses in "share documents"

Hi there.
We often send document links by using the "share" function. Too bad, we have to type the mali adresses manually. Would be great to choose the adresses same way we can do by crating reviews etc...

Icon to show security on folder

When in folder treeview it would be great if the folders that has allow access to all shown with one icon and another icon for folders with security turned on.

Create link to specific revision of a document

I have tried to find a way to create a link from a specific revision of at document to a folder. I do not know if it is possible but it doesn't seem so. I would like to create links to specifik revisions of several user requirement documents to a folder to keep the approved versions for a certain release kept together.

Bug: "New version page" calculates version number wrong

This is actually a bug, so "idea" is to fix it :)

Example:
When having a document at version 0.94 and wanting a first 1.0 version it says "version number must be higher than previous version.

1.100 works. but that would mean you need 2.101 if wanting to go to 2.0

Can you use version numbers in Safari for Mac Users?

We share documents in a working group and those with PC can use version numbers but those who have Mac say this is not possible. Is this true and if so could this funcionality be added to Safari users?

Is there any possibility to increase the max file size of a document from ~60 mb to something bigger? For instance, I would like to add a zipped folder that is around 1 gb.

For our medical industry we need to share our documents. On these documents the document version, and date and signatures, are a critical piece of information. I need to synchronize the projectplace version number as content in the Word document. Can we have a link of the projectplace version into the Word document field code?

PLEASE! Set "Versions" as default for new folders

I have just uploaded a folder template with a total of 46 folders (incl. subfolders) for a new project. That was quite easy using the pwer tab. But then I had to go to properties in every single folder to activate versions....one by one. That is weird. Versions is one of the major features in our projects. It really needs to be set to a default feature.
Will see what the weekly report will show. Still need to uncheck the spamlike daily report for new members to weekly....one by one.

At this moment you need to go to file history to find the date when a member has reviewed a document. Would be great to find the date straight behind the name in document review menue.

Hi there
It would be helpful if the version info is shown between version nr. an file size in the document tree. I can see when there is a new version but when I like to have the info what has been changed I need to open the "versions" out of the menu before just clicking and opening the file.

history of reminders for proofing documents

When I use in documents the possibility to proofe and sign a document an the end-date I gave, then it would be great when I*m sending a reminder for this action it would be archived.
Neither I find the reminder in the history aof this action

Document reviews - Delete a project Member

A project member who is not involved into the project any longer still appears in document review. So the review can not be completed. I need the possibiltiy to delete single project members out of an ongoing review as long as they have not finished it.

Improve performance in folders with many items

In folders with many items (folders or files), the system becomes very sluggish and unresponsive. For example scrolling up or down is very choppy and slow. Could this be fixed?

Linking cells between Excel workbooks on projectplace

Having stored the files workbook1.xlsx and workbook2.xls locally on my computer I can reference cells between workbooks.

E.g. typing in a cell in Workbook1 the formula "='[Workbook2.xls]Sheet1'!$C$1" to reference a certain cell from Workbook2, Sheet1.

From the projectplace support I learned that this is currently not possible when the workbooks are stored on projectplace.

It would be a useful feature though. :-)

Linking cells within Excel files stored on PP

We have some Excel files with cells containing predefined values used for advanced economic analysis and calculation

What we want is the possibility to link to these cells without the files being downloaded/checked out from Projectplace. Links shall be created from Excel files already checked out or not yet downloadded to PP. The link should only return the value of the linked cell and "report" that to the "externel" Excel file being edited.

Share several documents for Review in One single mail instead of plenty mails

Projectplace have a wonderful function in sending documents for a Review. But there is a big problem. When adding a list of documents, for example 20 drawings for a review during a period of 10 days to a group of people, everyone gets one single mail for each document instead of only one mail with a list of links.

If Projectplace instead could develop this function into one mail with links It would save a lots of time and aviod override mailboxes and especially irritating the recipients of the mails.

When a project is finished it would be very handy that all data could be save at once by saving it on a diskdrive. The disk drive should be made available against payment by Projectplace.
The benefit is that you have all data and history in one file for your archive.

Be able to sort on "Version Mgmt"

I need to be able to sort the document list on "Version mgmt".

Today I spend a lot of time scrolling up and down looking for documents with a certain version number.
