Dear all,

At the moment we are not focusing development efforts into Tasks as this is a legacy planning product that will be replaced by the new planning tools of Timeline, Activities and Boards.

This means that we will not introduce any new functionality into Tasks.

Best regards,
Karolina

Hi Karl,

Thanks for your feedback. Have you tested our new social planning features (customer preview) in there you can set up your master plan and for each project step you can list a number of actions that need to be completed to fulfill the step. The actions can even be sorted onto boards for an even more scrummy feeling.

If you haven't, please try it out (you can sign up for the preview on the start page of Projectplace) and please tell me if it's more like what you're looking for.

Best regards,
Karolina

Hi Karolina! The new interface and functions of PP are certainly "scrummified", but it does not include the feature that I mention above.
There is still no way to connect a number of issues to tasks....
Basically I would like issues and actions to be the same thing and collectable from a dropdown in a task.

BTW, Internet Explorer does not work with the new interface. Filtering/sorting of issues does not update on selection of any criteria. And Firefox is not an option for me since document handling is not working. So, I go back to the "old" interface. Couldn't see any advantages with the new interface.

Also, I noticed that there are new ideas on this specific topic, but with a different wording. I hope you will consider my idea (and the related ideas with the same content).

In the action tool you can list a number of actions on a board and then connect the board to project steps in the master plan
