When you e-mail someone the link to a document it can be done in two ways (at least) and they work differently!!!
1. Click on the row next to the name of the file. You get a menu from where you select Copy Link.
2. Right-Click on the filename it self (like regular browsing) and select Copy Shortcut from the drop-down menu.
Routine #1 is the intended way and does work without flwas.
Routine #2 actully open the document for you, but if you make changes PP doesn't ask you if you like to upload the new vesrion. The files are stored in the internet temp and is normally hard to find.
When PP now move in to the "real" browser this problem will get worse. People expect normal browsing behaviour if they are in a browser.
The menu that you get when you right-click on a document name is generated by the web browser. It can differ from browser to browser and we have no way of altering it.
What we could do is replace it with completely with our "own" context menu at some point in the future. I don't know what the general feeling in the community out there is about this, it would be interesting to hear from more people.
