When I join our projectplace Site, I see our Members, but it would be very nice, if I see, for an example through a small green point, who is at the moment online in project place.
Further, I would like to click on the picture of the member and I start a small chat with them.
The other option: a faster, self-actualizing Tag-"Board"

Thanks for your feedback. We have a teamchat function which is a stand alone chat application that is in internal testing at the moment. It's an air based app that shows who is online and lets you chat with the predefined groups in your project, all members or one to one. I attach a screen shot of the app as it is right now, is this something that might solve your need?
