If I get a PP document link sent to me by email, I have to open the link in a separate browser, even if I have PP plugin and browser open.
I'd like a field where I can paste a document link to get to the document. As the PP browser doesn't have a URL field, I currently cannot do that.

Hi Ivar,
thanks for your feedback. What happens if you just click on the link? What would you like to happen? It seems a bit cumbersome to have to copy and paste to open the link (for me at least) I would prefer to just click on it in the mail. What is the desired behaviour then?
Best regards,
Karolina

Is your idea similar tp this? http://ideas.projectplace.com/feedbacks/79194-projectplace-links-in-e-mails-should-open-in-powertab

Hi.
If i click a link in an email, I'm taken to the default browser window where the document can be accessed. But that requires me to log in again, and I am already logged in via PP browser (powertab?).
Of course it's more cumbersome to copy/paste a link instead of just clicking it, but without a new URI scheme, copy/paste is the only work-around.
Currently, if I get a link to a PP document via email. I cannot even open that document via PP browser, unless I go to a temporary PP directory, choose to create a shortcut, then copy/paste the link to the shortcut, save the shortcut and then click it. When the document is open I can delete the shortcut. That's cumbersome!
The proposal of having a separate URI scheme for powertab is of course the best solution as clicking a link would open it in powertab, but until we get that, just give me a field where I can enter a PP document link sent to me.
