Not an idea as much as a request. Working in projects without being able to access the PP on an iOS browser is a show stopper. The devices have been around for years and millions of people use them daily. Still it's not possible to browse the site on an iOS device. I find that remarkable.
The iPhone app is buggy, slow and very limited. Not very useful for professional project managers. It's the only option after all these years. So please give us a decent iOS experience, either with a working iPhone/iPad app or - better - a web site that works on iOS browsers.
Hi Thomas,
Thanks for your feedback/request. What parts of Projectplace do you use most? We are in the process of testing an iPad/iPhone app for Document Management. It would be useful to know what kind of procedures you want through your device. Also what bugs do you experience in the current iPhone app?
Best regards,
Karolina
We have removed a lot of the annoying and quite useless error messages that you got in Safari on the iPad. It should be smoother to use Projectplace on the iPad now.
There's a new app coming out before the end of the year that will work on both iPad and iPhone and be focused on Document Management.
Good news from PP, thanks for that :) Focusing on documents is a good strategy. I hope you improve on stability as well, a bit too many crashes now, especially in the conversations window.
If you, like me, are a bit impatient and start clicking around before something has loaded completely in iOS I find that apps crash a lot. This is the same with Tweetdeck, G+, LinkedIn and Facebook apps for me. I will let the team know your feedback though.
