When the site time out I don't get any message about it. It just stops responding. Reloading the current page doesn't take me to the login-page either.
I have to type in http://www.projectplace.com in the address bar of my browser to log in again.
I use Firefox 4.0.1

Thanks for your feedback. I have tried replicating your problem, but I can not. Could you please contact support: support@projectplace.com so that we can check what's happening for you. Also, please try emptying your cache and cookies in your browser. You will find the settings to empty this under "history" "clear history" in your firefox menu.
