It would be great to have a dedicated e-mail address for every group.
Let's say I have a project "MissionZ" and therein a group "leaders". Then it would be great to have an e-mail address like "firstname.lastname@example.org".
The advantage: I can write e-mails to my group peers without having to go to projectplace first. It's a general complaint we get that we're currently tackling by administering separate mailman lists.
An enhanced feature would automatically check whether the sender's e-mail address is part of the PP group and reject to forward mails to group members if not.
Thanks for your feedback. You can already send email to groups in Projectplace by selecting the group in members and then email from the button on the toolbar.
The idea to create emailadresses for groups in Projectplace which are accessible outside projectplace will be dicussed in the quality meetings if it gets enough votes.
The top ideas with status Quality Backlog are discussed on a regular basis with the design team. These should be minor development, and could include hygiene factors, little things that create a wow effect and ideas that could have a positive effect on a lot of users.
