I work with an expanded tree structure, to better get an overview of my projects, and it's nice that you can open files from a sub-level, without having to open the parent folder.
However it would be nice you could also add files and folders on a sub-level, without having to open the parent folder. That's currently not possible.
Hi Jon,
Thanks for your feedback. You can add subfolders to folders by clicking on the menu next to them and selecting "add folder".
If you use the Plug-in for Internet Explorer you can upload to any folder in any project from inside Office applications. A Projectplace button will be placed on the toolbar inside your office application.
Best regards,
Karolina
Hi Karolina,
Please withdraw your comment, as it doesn't address my issue. I knew adding folders that way was possible, but I am talking about adding folders to sub-directories, without opening the parent folder first.
If, for instance, you open you entire programme and some subfolders are expanded (maybe even to a second or third level), how would you add folders or files to such folders, without having to open the parent folder first and thereby navigating away from top level in your programme?
In other words, if you can see:
Programme\Sub-project1\Reports\May2011
And you want to create "June2011" in "Reports", how would you do that without opening "Reports" first?
You can do that in Windows explorer, but not in PP.
