Before: we set a date in the calender for a meeting. Later we would add the documents and send out an invation. Members of the meeting would receive an email, and confirm via the button in the email. And their name would be markedin ProjectPlace. No extra emails would be sent
After the update of march 2011: On accepting or declining an invitation of a meeting a mail is send to the person who made the initial appointment. In our project that is some-one else then the one that sends the agenda and notes. That last person alters the original request, and sends an altered invitation and confirming that the planned meeting is going ahead.
Some of the accepted invitations are shown in ProjectPlace. Others are not.
It is now not possible to see who is coming and who is not.
This is so counterproductive for a site ment to improve the cohesion of a project. Please fix this.
And while you're at it:

I am complaining about this problem for several moths. I also asked for a work-around so I, as organiser of the meeting, can change te status of the invited people. Hope they accept this as a big problem.

In support I would say that the aforementioned capability is pretty fundamental tot the proposed purpose of ProjectPlace.. So if thát doesn't work properly.. it is detrimental to the perception of your site.

Now and then it happens than answerring a meeting request does not correctly show up in the projectplace agenda or response overview. It's unclear for the organiser whether I accepted or not.

I am in support of this functionality.

Hi,
When replying to a meeting make sure that you send the response otherwise it will not be registered in the meeting in Projectplace. In the response you can also state your reason for declining.
Best regards,

The problem is, that in the past you could respond by pushing a button within the mail. This was a clear green marker. And there was an extra button for adding the meeting to Outlook.
Since the upgrade, you have to open an attached file, in which both options are combined. It is my experience that many of the members of my Project (over 150) don't do this. They have written the meeting in their Agenda their own way, and don't see the need to open the attachement. And therefor missing the possibility to register/decline the meeting.

My acceptation is not shown. This is indeed counterproductive. several action beside this trying has to be taken. In effect it cost more time.
