Hi Karolina,

Technically I am not able to have an online meeting with you; our network doesn't allow it.
Thereby I am not an expert in VISI and the documentation is in Dutch. The only English document I had already linked.

There has been earlier contacts in this field with people of Projectplace. In 2006 a student of the University of Twente, Olaf Kok, made a thesis about the use of project-extranet and the relation between building industry and ICT. He had contacts with C. Lasschuijt, business development manager Projectplace and Ir. R. de Graaf consultant for ProjectPlace. In the thesis it is clear that Projectplace in the Netherlands is rarely used in the building industry but that the functionality will be sufficient.
B.t.w. this information is out of date.

If Projectplace is interested, the impact is limited to the Dutch market. Nevertheless, for multidiscipline governmental departments like provinces and cities, Projectplace is a preferable project-intranet system if building and infrastructual projects can be included (and with the precondition that record management can be achieved conform legal demands, but that's another story).

Is it possible to contact Dutch Projectplace consultants about the Definition Study we wil make concerning projectmanagement systems? For the record, without any commitment so far.

Greetings, John Smal
