In most projects there exist other IT services project members have to be authenticated with.
The project members are registred in ProjectPlace, that's why it would be useful to use this login information. If ProjectPlace acts as OpenID provider, other IT services as webservers or databases would be able to authenticate against Projectplace.
I strongly support this idea.
Hi Thomas,
Thanks for a very interesting idea. We are currently looking at a way for companies to use their own company login (and be an identity provider) towards us. This idea is a way of leveraging that work in the other direction. Cool idea, let's see how this investigation pans out. I would really like to see how many people would like to see this development.
Best regards,
Karolina
