In the project overview, the folder hierarchy is not displayed as in the other sections (Tasks, Time Reporting). We have work orders that always contain the same folder structure such as:
Work order 1
Work order 2
In the overview the member only sees "Analysis" but has no idea for which work package. We currently use a workaround by repeating the name of the work order behing each of the phases.
Better would be to either show the tasks as a hierachical list as in the other list views.
Another great feature would be to be able to sort the tasks in the overview by date by clicking on the header "Date". This works in some other views but not in the overview.
Hi Dan,
This is something I've heard about before. Quite a lot of people have similar repetetive structures. I'll put this idea in the quality backlog queue and then we will look further at the possibility/difficulty of implementing this if it get's enough votes.
The top ideas with status Quality Backlog are discussed on a regular basis with the design team. These should be minor development, and could include hygiene factors, little things that create a wow effect and ideas that could have a positive effect on a lot of users.
You can read more about how we work with the quality ideas in my blog:

Yea a folder structure would make projectplace more useful for development projects where you want to move specifications as they move on in the development process. A drag and drop would be optimal.
