Hi Paul,

Thanks for your feedback. We have discussed this idea in the quality group as it has quite a lot of votes here http://ideas.projectplace.com/feedbacks/46269-new-report-list-of-documents-directory-listing.

We came to the conclusion that this is not something we plan right now. There is a work around for this here

Please keep voting for eachothers ideas and let us understand in which context you need the list of files. Maybe there is a way that we can solve this if we understand the need for this list better.

Is there a reason why this was not progressed? This is a basic feature of almost any other document management tool.

Thanks for the suggestion of using a screenshot of the search results.

The result isn't something I could include in a report for our design board though.

We have thousands of files and I need to be able to sort them into alphabetical order before making a printed document.

There are a number of reasons why a proper report would be useful: counting the number of entries, searching, copy and paste into other documents. Even spell-checking.

I have found a workaround but it is extremely labour and time intensive.
