To expand on this idea, it might also be nice to have the option to 'clean out' all Minor Versions. 1.x, 2.x etc...

I'm sure that like a lot of users, we use the Major version increment to indicate some form of approval or sign-off. Loosing the Major version would be an issue, but not the minor versions.

I would like to remove and stop all versionscontrol on a whole project, and save a lot of money. (We have our own versioncontrol we have to use).

Good idea! Add selection of all versions except the active one. Then it's possible to deselect the ones to keep.

All users should be able to delete any old version, and not like today only their own. Now the administrator has to do the cleanup - manually! More flexibility in this function will save the users a lot of file store and the administrator some valuable time.

This forum has been on for almost three years now - sofar nothing happened. I would appreciate if the ideas would be realized by PP. Hallo PP? Anybody out there looking into these forums? What is the state of affairs?

In Firefox, the actual delete button on the version management page is grayed out. Making it impossible to delete versions even after I have selected some for deletion. This is a shame, since Firefox has extensions that let's you drag-to-select multiple checkboxes. Chrome also has add-ons that are similare but I haven't gotten any of those to work on Projectplace.

Is there a way to gete the "Delete versions" button work in Firefox?

Changing the way we work with Ideas, thus updating the status of your idea in line with the new process. New process works as follows:

1. When you post a new idea that we consider valid, we will label it 'Open to vote for', so that it can be shared with other users and start gathering votes
2. Ideas that are older than a year that we haven't gotten around to implement and that have not gathered enough votes will be archived.
3. We keep some older ideas that we think are in line with something we are planning otherwise or that have gathered enough votes.
4. If there are duplication of ideas, we may archive one of them and keep another which can continue to gather votes.
5. Ideas that we are planning to implement will be moved into the category 'Accepted'
