Hi Ole,

Thanks for your feedback. I'm going to have to test this and get back to you. Does the app not disappear if you close it by right-clicking the icon in your tray and choosing "close"?

Best regards,
Karolina

I also have the same problem. It looks like tab application is not "rolled up" instead it is "hidden" by placing it off the top of the primary monitor, unfortunately this puts it onto a secondary monitor positioned above the primary monitor.
There does not seem to be a right click menu for the tab and with the tab view set to always on top it means you cannot hide it behind other applications.

Can the Tab options be added to the right click menu on the system tray icon, and can we have the ability to close just the tab rather than all of the plugin?

Just to be precise - the problem is related to the Power Tab window, not the main Projectplace application window. I also find it somewhat annoying that I cannot open the main application without also opening the Power Tab.

Ole,

You can always go to http://www.projectplace.com in your webbrowser and log in from there.

Karolina,

Your reference to the web browser is totally useless. I am now for the first time experiencing the very annoying cosmetic incident described above. There is no right click action on the Power Tab!

Please test and supply info on how to avoid.

Hi,

@ Erik..this was supplied to Ole who wished for a way to open Projectplace without opening the powertab. I hope that he finds it useful. You do not have to have the powertab open to access Projectplace. You can close the Powertab by right clicking on the icon in the system tray (bottom right hand corner of your main monitor usually)

I have replicated your problem and reported it to our development team.

Best regards,
Karolina

Karolina,

Excellent that you have been able to replicate the incident. It is cosmetic (but nevertheless annoying), and the only way I have found to get the powertab to close, is as you suggest to close down using the intray...

...which in turn causes the projectplace session to be closed - not only the powertab.

Thanks,
Erik

Hi Erik,

If you just open projectplace.com in any IE window and log in from there, you don't need to use the powertab:)

Good luck, and I'll keep you updated.

Karolina

As stated before the PowerTab should 'Roll Up' not simply 'Shift' down. Very annoying when using multiple monitors with extended desktop one on top of the other.
