In the real world of projects the phases like Training, Implementation, Planning are often overlapping during agile PM.
So there are different phases parallel which have their own milestone at the end.
In the project overview the phases have to follow eachother and that seems to be a bit liek the waterfall model.
Why not having Phases with a start end end date and the end date is the milestone at the same time.

Michael

Hi Michael,
Thanks for your feedback. I hope we're on the same page if I assume the you're talking about the line that you see on the Project Overview. With toll gates and phases?
Best regards,
Karolina

This of this image more as a timeline of the project from start to finish. In it's basic form you would have only two tollgates "start" and "finish" and the phase "project" inbetween.
Any more detailed planning should probably be done in the tool Tasks. Or, maybe take a look at the Projectplace Planner?

To be honest, than i dont know for what this timeline is needed. Every project has a start and an end and between that a project. :-)
Where I can find the project planner? Is it already released?
Cheers,
Michael

I included the link to Projectplace Planner in my post. Or you find it when you're logged in under Personal&Planner in the left hand menu, just underneath your name.
Have fun with it, it's currently in beta and we welcome feedback.
All the best,
Karolina

Hallo Karolina,
I took a short look at the planner. Am I right when I guess that this has no connection the my projects? Ist just a tool to create a plan?
Or have I access on tasks, milestones in my already defined projects?
Cheers,
Michael

Hi Michael,
You can save your Projectplace Planner plan to .xml and then import in into your Team Edition (project).
You can also just save the plan in the Documents tool if that's a better option.
Best regards,
Karolina
