Hi Johan,

Thanks for your feedback. I've been counting the minutes for this idea to come up once we launched support for mac participants in online meetings. It's the obvious next step.

The online meeting function is provided via a partner and I haven't heard anything about extending the support to include moderators on a mac. But I will check and come back to you.

Hi,

Yes, we are aware that Netviewer has released a mac moderator version and we are trying to see if we can make that available to our customers also. Currently the Mac moderator version of Netviewer is not available to enterprise customers, such as ourselves, but we are talking to them about the issue.

Again, we skipped the use of the net meeting tool, as there is no support for Mac OS. And it does not seems that there will be.

Mac users can participate in online meetings. The most recent version of the tool also supports mac users starting online meetings but like I said, it is not available for us. When it is, it will also be available to our users.

Hi,

This is the information that we have received from our pertner Netviewer about their roadmap for Mac:

We have asked if we can obtain this version for our customers but have had no positive reply to that. We will of course continue to try and get this for our users also.

Hi all,

We are working actively at changing our current netviewer solution to their Saas solution which would enable Mac users to be moderators. Included in this is also a telephone conference room for each session (they charge extra for that) or you could use one of the "free" services for voice conferencing like msn or skype. I have no time schedule for when we will be able to implement it as we are currently in negotiations with netviewer about how this can be solved technically and about the timeframe. But I will keep you updated here.

Mac users can currently join online meetings in Projectplace. The next version that we hope to implement later this year will also allow Mac users to start online meetings.

The decision to join to projectplace is depending on the function start online meetings. It seems to me as a MAC User it doesent work.
Its a pitty.
