If you buy Planner edition you can also use Projectplace Planner in your Team edition. Send it out for review to your project team and once it's approved you can export it to xml and import it in Tasks. I will do a film about this...as soon as i get some spare time:)

Hi Fredrik,

Thanks for your feedback. It's great to hear that you like the Planner, we think it's pretty cool ourselves and use it a lot.

When/If this gets implemented in Team Edition we don't know yet. More votes for this idea will move it up the priority list.

Best regards,
Karolina

This is fun feedback to read!

Planner started out based on our normal document model. We want plans to be version controlled, easy to collaborate with and communicate. Planner does not (yet) have dependencies and resource management (which the normal tasks tool does) so we've wanted to hold off launching it in that tool.

Question; when working with the tasks tool, would it be acceptable for you if you could edit task names and schedule in Planner, while dependencies and resources would be edited in the basic task tool? Or, would you rather we waited until dependencies and resources are implemented in Planner aswell?

Vote for this if you like it!
