I'd like to be able to get rid of the power tab in my work area, and just have it available in the task bar.
There is an option to send the powertab to the back of the screen.
Thanks for your feedback: At the moment there is no way of hiding or moving the Powertab tab. And since the "upload to projectplace" button requires the Powertab to be running, you can't do this at the moment. I understand the idea though...a few people have had similar ones. Take a look at the other Powertab ideas, maybe you'll find some you like and want to vote for:http://ideas.projectplace.com/feedbacks/279488-user-defin...http://ideas.projectplace.com/feedbacks/265384-expanded-p...http://ideas.projectplace.com/feedbacks/249562-possibilit...http://ideas.projectplace.com/feedbacks/240578-ability-to...http://ideas.projectplace.com/feedbacks/204284-turn-off-a...
We are looking into ways of customising the PowerTab. A first step could be to have the possibility to send the tab to the back of the screen so it wouldn't be on top of all the windows. Thoughts?
I think that's a good start. At the moment I have removed the power tab from autostart since I'm not working with my projectplace documents daily. If the tab would be 'hidden' in some way I'd feel it was less invasive and would consider having it running continuously.
I'm considering using the Windows uninstall and get rid of the software
Thanks for your feedback. If you uninstall the Projectplace Plug-in using Windows unistaller you also loose the drag and drop and other plug-in functionalities. Here's a film to show how you can close the PowerTab and prevent it from opening automatically. This will let you use the basic functionality of the plug-in while getting rid of the powertab. You can always start the powertab manually from your start menu if you should wish to.
How can I send it to the back of the screen? I cannot find any settings...
