Hello Peter

Thank you for your contribution, however I am not entirely sure as to what you refer to. There is no 'personal' tool on a project level.
Perhaps you could provide a little more information and I will gladly be of assistance.

It is possible to create shortcuts to the tools in your project, so you can access them from the "My overview" tab.

Best Regards
Trude

What I mean is that when I select a project to the left in PP, I get a view with a number of tabs. The first one, the one that's selected by default, is called "Project Overview".

For me it contains nothing of value at all, so the first thing I have to do each time I select a project, is to click the next tab, "Documents". This is utterly annoying.

I, along with everyone else I know, use PP to share documents only, so you ought to allow users to work without always having to click away the "Project Overview".

I hope it's clearer now!

Kind regards,

Peter

Hi Peter!

Thank you for your answer!

Creating a shortcut to your Document tab or a folder will make it easier for you, and you can then access the document tab or the folder directly from Shortcuts on the page "My overview".

The button "Add this page to my shortcuts" is placed in the toolbar.
Here you can see a film regarding this:

I know that and I've been using shortcuts for years. I still think the order of the tabs is unfortunate and wastes most users time. Bad design should be improved, not worked around!

Kind regards,

Peter
