Is it possible to arrange the members of a group in alphabetical order? So it's easier to find (and remove) people?
I hope support sorted out your problem. I close this here now, let me know if it should have been left open
When I click on a group, the group members are in alphabetical order, so I can not recreate this problem.Try emptying the cache (temporary internet files) and if it's still not working please contact our support: email@example.com so that we can give you further assistance. /Trude
Hi Trude,Thanks for you tip.Unfortunately it didn't work.So I called with the local helpdesk, and explained it. The man is spoke to said he would put it through to Sweden. because the option I asked for is not availlable.
To clarify my problem:If you make a group, you can add members in two ways.1. When you invite them to join ProjectPlace2. Make a group and add afterwards the members.
The list of groupmembers is aligned in order of which people are added. If you fill the group like in the second option, it's very likely that the members are in alphabetical order. As the list you choose from is too.If you do it like in the first way or if you add members later to the list, the list gets filled in order of adding. There is no tool to change the order in the list. It would be nice if you could:1. rearrange in alphabetical order (A>Z or Z>A) 2. rearrange randomly with pick and drop.
Why do I want it: I've got a Project with a prox. 180 members, who are assigned to different groups. It would be a helpful tool to find people faster, and also it's helpful to check if a list is still correct.
In "My preferences" you can set if you want to list names and sort on: Surname, Name or Name, Surname. If you have any unregistered members they will sort on the first letter in the e-mailaddress.
I will contact you through the support so that we maybe can have an onlinemeeting and look at your project together.
Hi Trude,I'm sorry, but that doesn't work either :(It does change the appearance of the names "surname, first name" to "first name, surname". It doesn't change the order in which the names are listed
I have now sent you another e-mail from our support, please contact me so we can have an onlinemeeting and look into the problem. If you haven´t received any e-mail you can also send an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org.
