You are quite right, the fonts (or some of them) are larger. The feeling that you have to scroll more however, is mostly an optical illusion.

In order to set off what's relevant, put information in a context and differentiate information, we've (among other things) set the headings in a larger size. At the same time however, the space between information blocks and between table rows is less. So, all in all, we pretty much fit the same information into the same amount of space as before. To really get into detail: the difference on My Overview, on a 1024x764 screen, is about 10 pixels and objects visible are basically the same.

As we move towards larger screen sizes, increasing the the relative sizes improves the experience for more users. And accomplishing that, while fitting the same amount of information, is a real win-win :)

I think the font sizes are absurd. I definitely get less info on the same page. I have to scroll much more. Since it is not my issue, I do not think I can add examples. I will therefore make a separate issue.

Another issue on the same theme is the column withs in many views. They are way too narrow, forcing a/multiple brake/s in the text. For example "Persons" in the Beta-project, I can only see seven (7) persons at a time since the column "History" is so narrow that the information is split up in three rows.

There should be an automatic function to adjust the column withs according to the need, but there should also be a manual way to adjust them (as in Excel).
