(I really hate being this stubborn, but as my feedback cases get closed for editing without resolution or explanation, I see no other way)
The problem with the failing search for issues is NOT cured for old issues. I have been informed by support that this has been done for business reasons. Searches for issues will continue to fail (be unpredicatble) until old issues are manually touched and re-saved. Off course I would like see a solution to this problem, that does not burden paying users of the system.

Nice to hear that you have been in touch with support. I see your problem. I shall hear with the database people if there is something we can do without causing havoc in existing data.
