Hi!

By its very nature, a project is limited in time and we therefore understand the need to get your information in a useful way once the project is finished.

For our enterprise users we offer the possibility to archive projects on our own servers, would this be an acceptable solution for you?

Then the project, in its entirety, is stored on our servers, it can be locked to prevent any further changes.

I really support this proposal. We have duty to archive the project information at in our own environment. With the current lack of the right metadata when zipping to an archive, the information will be difficult to understand afterwards. To do that you must have the right author that created the information and the time he did it, to be abel to follow how the work in the project progressed.

Extremely inportant feature!

Meta-Data is required to be kept for legal reasons (ie in the case of a Litigation Hold). Without it the quality, meaning and value of the data is vasty reduced.

It would also increase the use of Project Place for short duration project as people would be safe in the knowledge that they can keep all the data needed. At the moment I would be put-off starting new projects in PP as I know I can't keep the meta-data and I am therefore tied into usein ProjectPlace in the long term.

We are currently going through all ideas with votes and updating statuses here on ideas to be more descriptive.

I totally agree!
I would really like it if it is possible to archive the comments that are placed by a document. For example export them to a textfile with the same name as the document? That would save me a lot of work.

We have notes in the "description section" that relates to a specific document and would like to archive the information. For example export to a textfile with the same name as the document? That would save a lot of work.
