Hi Joachim,

you can mark as many documents and forders as you want and download them as a zip-file by clicking on on compress and retrieve in the toolbar. Is this similar to the feature you're looking for?

Regards,
Karolina

Hi,

the compress feature which Karolina mentions is one possibility. Another one would be to drag and drop the folder or files directly from ProjectPlace to the local desktop.

Dear Karolin, Dear Johannes,

I am a little bit ashamed... You are totally right. Both ways work fine, absolutely perfect. Obviously I was blind. Sorry. I suggest to delete my idea since the functionality is already available and works perfect.

Regards,

Joachim

I had the same question, which is solved instantly.
Thanks for asking. :-D

Kind regards, Carlien

Why not add a WebDAV facility to project place? The document manager is very poor on OSX and the download as a zip feature takes forever on large projects. I've been forced to write a script that downloads everything from the API, which seems like a waste of ProjectPlace resources, as well as developer time.
