It is not possible to open or download files that are in the recycle bin. Even if I open the document's detail window by clicking on it there is no possibility of opening or saving. In any case I have to restore the file (and perhaps the hole folderstructure because they changed) to have the ability to download the file. For a short list of files perhaps that may be practical. But for a list of 200 files it is not realistic. Why it doesn't exist a "compress&retrieve"-button beneath the "restore"-button like in the document archive?
Ideas with status Business Case require a bit more development and might affect several parts of the system. These will therefore have to be prioritised against other new development. The way we do this is by writing a business case for the development and then discussing the prioritisation of the business cases. We write business cases for the top ideas in this category.
Regarding the recycle bin, It would be a good idea to be given the opportunety to choose where to restore the documents.
