The top ideas with status Quality Backlog are discussed on a regular basis with the design team. These should be minor development, and could include hygiene factors, little things that create a wow effect and ideas that could have a positive effect on a lot of users.

A good idea but right now we can not see that this is something that we can prioritise in the short term. For now, we recommend that you use the following work-around:

I totally agree. My current project has 80GB of files online. I desperately need to be able to list these files. The need is very real and very urgent, as I otherwise have to zip all the files and download them , which will take days, by which time more files have been uploaded and the whole exercise is no longer valid.

Agree with Tim. We also really need this functionality. It's impossible to do any type of reconciliation without it, which makes all the other wonderful ProjectPlace tools redundant, and might force us to another provider.

Hi,

I was looking at the comments here and I have some questions...
So, the workaround is not what you are after?
What do you need from the report?
Do you need to work further with the report after it has been generated?
What format would you like it in?

Best regards,
Karolina

Hi Karolina,

Thanks for coming back so quickly. The problem is with the number of Documents within our project place. We currently have over 6000 documents. Your workaround only appears to work for approx 200 documents (seems to be a Search Documents limitation) and there is no option to page through the results.

Ideally we'd like a CSV type export listing all the files in PP, showing (for example)

File Name, Full Path, Size, Date, Version

So you might see:

"ABC Contract.doc", "Documents\Clients\Contracts\Signed Off", "0.11", "2010-01-02 13:32:12"

This can then be loaded into Excel for further analysis.

Thanks

Steve

Hi Karolina

It would be useful to see comments and who uploaded the file

There is a question as to whether you would want to report on only the latest version of a given file or all versions

Thanks

Hi Karolina:

That workaround is not valuable in cases of big number of files.
We realy need a proper list function.

If you use the "export access rights" button in the toolbar (only administrators), it will generate a list of all folders/documents in the project
