I evaluate Projectplace for iGrafx - Corel.
One crucial feature we miss is something very basic - blackout or non working days.
You might know the holiday/non working feature even from MS Project where you can automatically plan around unavailable days. E.g. block time for Christmas season, Hanuka or Ramadan.
As we run projects in different geographic regions it would be nice to have different holiday / non-working schedules and assign a non-working schedule per group/user.
If you plan a task which takes 4 weeks and you start at December 1. the estimated end date will be end of first week in January next year if a Christmas week is scheduled in.

At the moment we are not focusing development efforts into Tasks as this is a legacy planning product that will be replaced by the new planning tools of Timeline, Activities and Boards.
This means that we will not introduce any new functionality into Tasks.
