I think that it should be possible to fill in all the info at the same time
when creating a new issue such as name of the issue, assigned to, due date, work effort and priority
without having to reopen the issue after it´s been created.

After the business council we feel that we need to understand the needs people have for the issue management tool better. Please those that have voted, feel free to provide us with further explanation of when and how you need this. And also maybe why the current solution is inadequate.
We are putting together a better business case for the top ranked ideas about Issues. Will be done in time for Product Council at the end of May. Ideas with status Business Case require a bit more development and might affect several parts of the system. These will therefore have to be prioritised against other new development. The way we do this is by writing a business case for the development and then discussing the prioritisation of the business cases. We write business cases for the top ideas in this category.
This will be put in the quality backlog.
