Allowing KPI columns to be rearranged is something that we have planned for our roadmap next year.

I'll second that and, actually, even if you remove the KPI and add it again it will be in the same position as before, i.e. it does not solve the "order problem" to remove and add.

My workaround is to deactivate the KPI creating a new one instead to make sure the list of KPI's i in an order of my choosing.

That's a great info and way to work-around the problem. But still not at all preferable.

How does it work out woth the information already typed in when you remove the KPI's and then add them again. Will the KPI-information remain?

No, I agree with you - it is not at all preferable with the workaround.

And to your question: yes, the KPI-remains if you remove the KPI from your portfolio. And it also remains if you deactivate the KPI altogether and then activate it again.

Hi!
Thanks for sharing your feedback with us and suggestions to a work-around! This is something we hear about from you and something we also think is a good improvement. However this is something that we have not yet been able to prioritize. We might be able to look into this in Q4 but without being able to make any promise.
Best regards
Silvija

Being able to reorganize columns in portfolio view is something that we have not yet been able to prioritize but might look into in Q4.

Hi Silvija,
Thanks for the kind words. It would be very much appreciated if you could prioritize the change in the coming six months as it would make many things a lot easier.

Best regards,
Daniel

We have started to move our portfolio tracking into Projectplace using the basic features. The workaround is not preferable and we really hope that Projectplace will step up the development in the portfolio area.

Being able to change the order of the KPIs in a portfolio is something that had to be set to a lower priority. Right now this is something that we haven´t been able to prioritize into the roadmap. However, once in a quarter we update our roadmap and then also go through Ideas to see what customers suggest and put a lot of votes on.

We are new to ProjectPlace and just finished setting up our base KPI's only to find that the order is not desireable and disappointed to learn that there is no good way to change the order. I also agree that this would be a good enhancement to the product.
