Hi Brandon!
Thanks for sharing your idea! So you mean that one card exists on several activities? Can you not break down that card to several cards that then points to only one activity? Then you can take advantage of grouping the board by activities. There are no plans right now to make it possible to assigning a card to multiple activities.

Best regards
Silvija

Greetings Silvija, yes one Card existing on several Activities. No Card cannot be broken down as this will lead to unnecessary management of Cards. Essentially think of the Card containing "Corrective Actions" that can resolve several Activities "Affected Items". For now the workaround is to add Affected Items as Checklist Items on the one Card. Greetings Silvija, I think there is a misunderstanding. I do NOT want to create Multiple Cards. What I want is for multiple Plan Activities to be associated to a Single Card. In the case I am explaining the Plan Activities are items that may be affected by a problem and not schedule related items. Not sure if I am explaining this well? Regards, Brandon

Hi Brandon!
No, I understand your request, no worries. It is me being unclear. I will try explain again what I mean. Now you use the checklist to relate the card to other activities as well.
But do you also go to the activities in Plan to check status or do you only work in Boards view? In case you you also work in activities in Plan it is possible to copy the related card URL in the description field of the activities it belong to. Suggestion is only if you also work in Plan view. Hope you understand what I mean.

Best regards

Greetings Silvija, we don't add Plan Activity URL into the Card Checklist. The reason is that it adds little value because in our Quality Method we predominantly interact in the Boards Interface. Therefore it is simple enough to have Affected Items listed in the Card Checklist. The point of associating multiple Plan Activities is being able to view Board by Activity Grouping and instantly see that a Technical Issue (Card) has affected more than one Activity. That is a Single Card is populated in multiple Swim Lanes and as it is resolved it progresses through the same Column Status States, i.e. fixing issue for one Activity fixes it for all.
