In the end of October we released a new interface so now it is very clear that you can only add an end date to a milestone.

Hi Jeffrey!
Thanks for sharing your idea with us! I am not sure I fully understand what you mean. You have the start and end date that you can fill out but is it that you find the two fields being in the wrong order? Would you like first to see end date field before start date so that you in that way are promted to fill out the end date?

Hi Silvija,

What i mean is that if i add a new milestone i need to fill in a date (like 1-1-2017). But i need to fill it in the 'start date' box while the 'end date' box is locked (since you only need to fill in one data). For me this is not logic, because i expected to be the 'start date' locked since a milestone i always an end / result of a group of activities.

Is this more clear for you?

Hi!
Yes, now I understand what you mean. Well it is simply a date and should in my opinion not be start or end but only a date. But how the development team were discussing this issue is for me not known. As of now this is something that we will not do so much about but let´s see how popular this idea gets.

Filling out the milestone in the end date field is something that we have not been able to prioritize.

In late autumn we will update our the interface of our service which means creating a milestone will only show one input field for end date.
