Going through and updating status of closed ideas according to our new way of working. New process works as follows:

1. When you post a new idea that we consider valid, we will label it 'Open to vote for', so that it can be shared with other users and start gathering votes
2. Ideas that are support-related, already exist in some manner or non-implemented ideas that are older than a year and that have not gathered enough votes will be Archived.
3. We keep some older ideas that we think are in line with something we are planning otherwise or that have gathered enough votes.
4. If there are duplication of ideas, we may archive one of them and keep another which can continue to gather votes.
5. Ideas that we are planning to implement will be moved into the category 'Accepted'

good idea that will increase our use of project place

Hi Daniel!
Thanks for you input! So if I understand you want to decide which of the project steps should be shown in the portfolio view? We currently have no plans on changing this behaviour.
Best regards
Silvija

Thanks for your reply, Silvija. Yes, correct, the projects in our portfolio often have a very intensive use of project steps that is crowding the project schedule in the portfolio module, whereas what we would like is to be able to be showing only the major project steps in the portfolio view.

No we don't have any quick fix for that yet so we are pretty much just disregarding the project steps on a portfolio level (at least in the schedule).

Hi Brgds!
Do you use the different project step icons today? If not, could they help you a little with the distinction between project steps? See attachment.
Best regards

Hi Silvija,
The projects do use the different icons available but still all these icons are crowding the schedule.

Best regards
Daniel
