Hi Tommy,

We have implemented:
a) Delete several version at a time.
b) Filter documents by a date range and then bulk delete.

and the last one about deleteing version automatically when they exceed a designated number will be addressed as a part of automation. We will keep u posted on this.

Hi Tommy!
Thanks for sharing your idea with us! Yes it would be an improvement to not having too many old versions for a document and finding a good way of dealing with this. I know that this has been discussed, however right now we are not able to prioritize this.
Best regards
Silvija

I would like to empasize that this idea of a "purge" functionality of all or some older versions that aren't needed anymore is an idea that would make life (in projectplace at least :-) ) much easier!

Changing the way we work with Ideas, thus updating the status of your idea in line with the new process. New process works as follows:

1. When you post a new idea that we consider valid, we will label it 'Open to vote for', so that it can be shared with other users and start gathering votes
2. Ideas that are older than a year that we haven't gotten around to implement and that have not gathered enough votes will be archived.
3. We keep some older ideas that we think are in line with something we are planning otherwise or that have gathered enough votes.
4. If there are duplication of ideas, we may archive one of them and keep another which can continue to gather votes.
5. Ideas that we are planning to implement will be moved into the category 'Accepted'
