Hi Alex!
Thanks for sharing your idea! Sorry to hear about your experience you get with the new version. However being able to export with the parameters that you request for is something we hope to be able to work on within the next six months.
Best regards

Thank you Projectplace for making an effort to resolve the issue.
With the new look, how can I see the sum total of hours per person?
I do not manage to convince Excel to recognize the format HH:MM as a value to summarize, neither in the bottom of the window when selecting cells, nor via the Sum function.
As it is now, with the new version, I must manually change the data from HH:MM (aka 40:30) to a decimal number, 40,5, that Excel can recognize and calculate.
What to do, is it a simple matter of Excel management on my part, then what, or is there nothing I can do on my side?

The total sum of hours per person is not being calculated it seems like.

Sorry, my skills in Excel are limited so I can´t help you out with the formats. Maybe our support can help you out better here. You can reach them at support@projectplace.com

Thank you Projectplace for your continued effort in this matter.
Given that the purpose of the time report function is to be able to see how many hours someone has logged on a task, how do I access that function?
As it is now Excel, to which the report is exported, does not recognize the data as calculable data.
For me, having 30+ people reporting monthly, it is not practical to translate that data manually and for every line, from HH:MM to a format Excel recognizes.
I respect that Excel might not be your specialty, but as that is the software to which the data is exported, please advise as to how use the report to achieve its intended function of presenting data on hours per person.
Best regards; Alex Lantz

Hi Alex!
I brought this up with our developers and they looked at this again. Yesterday they sent out a new update so that it should be possible to summarize the data. Please let me know if you still experience problems.
Best regards
Silvija
