Last year we introduce a way for you to archive cards. When you connect cards to a an activity in the plan and that activity is set to completed the cards on the board gets hidden. To find the cards again you can go to that activity. Read more here:

Hi Doug!
Thanks for sharing your idea! This is something we hear about and there is actually already a similar idea where you could vote for.

A work around for now could be to create an Archive board if you don´t want to delete the cards. We do also have the possibility to Download the board (in Settings) which will save the board contents into an Excel file.

The archive functionality is an interesting idea but have not yet been able to priortize it for 2016.

Regards
Silvija

I don't think an archive mechanism is needed here.
Just having the ability to specify how long a card is showed in the "Done" column seems enough.

Some of our projects have huge life cycle; showing all Done cards forever is freaky.

Greetings Silvija,

The issue Users are facing is that their activity is ongoing and as a result the Done Column becomes very large. Setting activity to Done will not resolve this issue. Maybe in the Done Column Card can be hidden that are older than a User Set Date. Regards, Brandon
