In the Android app and the latest iOs app that we released in February (still work in progress for some tools though) have clear message when password has expired. In current iOS app this will not be fixed since it will eventually be phased out.

Thanks for your sharing your feedback! Yes, in our apps you don´t get any proper feedback to what has gone wrong when the password has expired. I brought this up and with Product Development and they agree that this should be improved. The preliminary plan for Android is within six months however for IPhone this has not yet been prioritized.
