On the roadmap for 2016 we have a planned effort to overlook Templates. This will be an input to this. As of now this is not something that has been prioritized yet.

Hi Gabriel!
Thanks for you feedback! We have discussed this an got curious to hear what your specific needs is for adding colours to folders in the knowledge base in Templates? Do you see it as an additional way to categorize/label content or is it something else?

Setting colours in templates may be a little bit tricky since it may be that each project define their own folder colours and these may have different meaning between different projects.

Silvija

Essentially, I categorized Plan activities with colors and want to relate folders in the knowledge base to these activities. The color code is the only way I could make that association.

As far as I can see, it is not possible to change a knowledge base folder's color in a project so do not understand what you mean by "each project define their own folder color". Or am I missing something?

You are right about not being able to change the folder colour in Knowledge base, both in template as well as in the project.

In general it is good to think about what the purpose is to set colours on folders in a template. It needs to be very clearly communicated so it is used in a correct way when a new project is created based on a template.
