We have talked about different ways of presenting historical data in the portfolio context, but not in project context. This is something that we think is interesting but it is not in our current roadmap.

Hi Henning,
Thanks for your feedback! I'm glad you like the new Status tab. With download, do you mean for archiving purposes or else? And is it a need of the project manager only or to spread to others? With "several reports", do you mean to see what the different values was in different point of time?
Best regards
Ylva

I agree - in my experience it is difficult to get project stakeholders to signinto a system to get the info for a status report. so we need to be able to produce a more old school report in word or in power point.

Hi,
I am not quite sure about the original intention of this idea, but the information added in the Status tab is published to the portfolios the project has been added to. In these portfolios all stakeholders can download a report of the current values reported from all projects. The report is in Word format that can be further changed or saved in preferred format.

Best regards
Ylva

Hi Ylva,

it is pretty much the same issue that I requested several times now...
We have now this easy to use and good looking status reports.
But how do I get my reports "out" of the system?
For documention issues or for using them in presentations it would be nice to save them as PDF's or pictures.
So you could compare the values of different point of times - to see the progress or changes of the project.

Again - we have a nice looking feature but it is only possible to print screen it because the export looks ugly and I really don't want to use them :)
And BTW not every Projectmanager has access to the portfolio - so it isn't even possible to export the reports...

It would be sooo helpfull to have a "Save as PDF" or "Print as PDF" functionality....
I really don't understand why you're still refusing this and don't see the necessity of it !?

BR Henning

Hi again,
the possiblity to look at historic data and trends is something that has been discussed in the portfolio perspective and the needs of a person with a need to get an overview of a number of projects. This is good input that the same kind of needs are true from a project managers perspective, thanks!

Regards
/Ylva
