We think some kind of chat/instant messaging function is a good idea but it is not included in our current roadmap.

Hi,

I agree with Matt. I am finding that @ mentions are really helpful but we could do with greater flexiblity that sits somewhere between conversations / blogs and mentions from cards, documents etc via comments. Why not explore this idea with a group of users in the context of a real-time online meeting?

Hi Matthew,
Thanks for your feedback. To see who is online in Projectplace and be able to chat with them is something that has been discussed and we absolutely think that it can add value to the Projectplace service, but it is not a prioritized area for the moment and not included in our curent roadmap.

Absolutely!- the fact that this is not yet prioritized is really going to limit ProjectPlace's potential- Facebook figured it out with Whatsapp- and now Whatsapp is opening up to businesses. Fact is, PP needs to expand past project conversations and be an all-in communications platform for your workforce. It shouldn't integrate with another app, because you are paying a premium for the stepped-up security. The functionality should be within the app.
