Hi,

For more detailed event information about documents I recommend the "last event" flag on the project overview. This also had the added advantage of being available at all times.

Best regards,
Karolina

We wanted to separate the weekly report from the more event based daily report. This way the weekly report can focus on the status of the project itself and the daily report will continue to focus on events. Do you feel that the daily report include the information you are now missing in the weekly report?

Best regards
Ylva

But, Karolina / Ylva, that is not good enough. We need to see the "document tree" information in the first place (in the weekly report). To understand were document belongs. If we have to to log on the project to reach the "last event" flag it´s a extra procedure. Furthermore it´s good to have all the information saved in a email. I say it again - go back to earlier version! :-)

A alternative is: make possible to change personal settings for this property- some persons might prefer the new stripped version

I insist in returning to the original format. You have to take into consideration that this Project is used by several companies and that not all of the documents are relevant for all of them. They way we had to determine if a document was relevant or not was the folder tree. Now we have to clic on each document to see if it is applicable to us which means too much time!

Hello,

A new comment has been posted by Martin Black on the idea "The new report does not show clearly what type of document has been changed or updated. I prefer the old report.":

To get a better overview of where in the folder tree new and updated document are located, I recommend you to activate the Daily report for projects you want to follow up on more closely.

To activate Daily reports, go to the Notifications section in Settings. You can choose what type of events you want to be included in the report (created, changed, moved and read) and for what projects.

In the attached picture you see an example of a Daily report where I have chosen to include all events, including "read" and "moved".

Ylva

The users at my company also agree the old weekly report format was vastly more useful in terms of both its content and how it was displayed. Here's a suggestion: in the same way that a user can “adapt” the daily report (select options for its content: show only created, modified, etc) , perhaps you can include a similar option for the weekly report, in which a user could choose to adapt/receive either the “full” (old format) or “summary” (new format) report.

The old weekly report was very useful in case one had missed a document during the week. the new weekly report is not useful in that regard and in my opinion not useful at all.

I agree with this comment, change back to earlier report version immediately! It's necessary to see all the information that mentioned by Belén. And another thing is that you can only see what have been changes during the two last weeks from today, even if you opens an old weekly report.

Ylva, Daily report is too frequently. It gets too "noisy" to get a report every day. The weekly report is more useful to get an overview of a project, to check what has happened recently. For that purpose it's crucial to se were document is placed, a file name eg. "appendix 1" tells me nothing. Please listen to us, we are the users, change back to the weekly report with complete information, see attached picture (almost the same as your example I suppose).

Hi Johan,
As I understand it the information you need is in the daily report but it is too frequent and you would like it more aggregated/less often. This is great feedback for our work that is planned for later thisyear when we will make changes on how to choose which notifications to receive, in what channel and how often.

Regards
Ylva
