Thanks for your feedback. Unfortunately this is not an easy problem as we want to make sure that users get the correct information without giving out information that may be restricted.

We are however, looking into writing something more informative than the current message.

Of course, I completley understand. But even suggesting the "main" reason for the error might be useful to both user and possibly support if escalated.

I want to hook on this topic. Especially difficult for me are error messages where you have missing access rights. But there isn't any indication regarding which project you are missing the access. As I am working in a multi project environment, it is sometimes quite difficult to figure out, to which project access is missing. So anything like "You don't have access to <project> <folder>" would increase the usability a lot. Thanks.
