It is now possible to print the Plan. You find the option in the cog wheel/options menu in the Plan tool.

Hi Hanna,

Thanks for your feedback. Under the menu which looks like a cogwheel you fis an export to excel that will give you a list of all the activities and their start and end dates.

Best regards,
Karolina

Yes I know that, but I just get a list of the activitys, not a timeline as a Gantt chart. That´s what I want to get.

I agree.

There is already a really nice view of the gantt chart - why should I have to redo this in excel???

We need a print functionality.
If we can't get the information out of PP in a good manner I'm honestly not willing to put all the effort in setting up the plan (instead I could use a different tool right from the beginning)...

Also agreeing to this. This seems like a basic functionality for this kind of tool.

I agree with Henning with the complement of Just printing the plan as it looks in the plan. Easy!

This should be a must for a tool like this!!! I have been a softwaredeveloper and this should be a piece of cake! I expect a plan for the implementation, in other case I will switch to another tool!

There is a possibility already to get all activities exported to excel. When it comes to printing the timeline as a gantt chart this is something we understand is important and we want to address this, though it is not planned in our current roadmap.

Whole-heartedly agree. i'm spending a ridiculous amount of time messing about with Printscreen and MS Paint. Please can we have a printable gantt chart.
Also - our projects run for several years - can i further compress beyond quarters please? (currently, if i select to view by years, it shows me a year to a screen / broken down by quarters, but i want to see it broken down by years - perhaps four years to a screen)

Printing of the project plan is on our current roadmap for the next 6 months.

Hello.
First of all, I am very happy that the print option is available on PP. This will help us a lot in the future.

But, I am struggling to get a good print at the moment. The text(description) and the timelines are placed on top of each other and it doesn't look good. FYI I am using Mac and Safari, but I have tried with Mozilla as well. Have you heard anyone else struggling with this?

Christian, it has now been reported as a defectc. There is also a workaround - to move the time line/grid in the background before printing. Hope that works for you too!

Thank you Ylva. I appreciate it.

Yes, I can move the grid and it works ok. It is of course different from project to project, so I expect it to get better with time and experience.

If you managed to get a clear intersection between the tasks to the left and the timelines to the right (like the Plan layout on PP), it would probably look a little better. And maybe if we were able to change the dates for the print manually.
