Hi Morten,

Thanks for your feedback. There are two ways for you to work around this.

1. Create a project template in which you create the desired folder structure. This can now be reused for creating projects over and over.

2. Place an empty document in each lowest level folder. This will prevent the folder from havin "0 bytes of information" which is what creates the problem. You should now be able to zip, upload and unzip the folder structure.

A third option if you have Internet Explorer 8 to 10 is to download and install our plug-in from https://www.projectplace.com/resources/download-centre/. This plug-in will allow you to drag and drop the folder structure from your computer to the Documents tab in Projectplace.

Best regards,
Karolina

Yes, this "workaround" cost me a lot of hours in work for a job that should've been copy/paste. I always use the most recent web browsers, so you should keep Your plugins updated at all times. I ended up manually pasting dummy files in all sub folders in windows, unpacking them in PP, and than manually selecting all files in PP, which included manually expanding all folders, in order to delete them again. I dread the day I have to do that again. Just do a fix for this :-)

Hi,

I understand your frustration. The priority of this idea depends on the score (votes), how difficult it is to implement and what other things are in the backlog.

We are working on an updated document management app.

Best regards,
Karolina
