Going through and updating status of closed ideas according to our new way of working. New process works as follows:

1. When you post a new idea that we consider valid, we will label it 'Open to vote for', so that it can be shared with other users and start gathering votes
2. Ideas that are support-related, already exist in some manner or non-implemented ideas that are older than a year and that have not gathered enough votes will be Archived.
3. We keep some older ideas that we think are in line with something we are planning otherwise or that have gathered enough votes.
4. If there are duplication of ideas, we may archive one of them and keep another which can continue to gather votes.
5. Ideas that we are planning to implement will be moved into the category 'Accepted'

Hi Karolina,
Yes, I am aware of the existing e-mail settings. My idea was for something else, which was to send one e-mail message for every project, instead of one e-mail message for all projects.

I can accept "not right now" if that is not a euphemism for "never".

Hi John,

A revamp of the way we tell you about the relevant things that have happened in the project is certainly on our road map. Your feedback is appreciated in understanding how people want this information.

How do you typically use the daily reports? What purpose do they serve for you in your project?

I'm curious about how you use the forwarding of this mail - is it to give external people an insight into what is happening in your project?

Best regards,
Karolina

My main use for the daily reports is to keep a history of the day-by-day project development. As the project manager, I like to rapidly flip through the last five or six daily e-mails on my computer screen like pages in a book, in order to find hidden trends and to discern if any new tasks (kanban cards) need to be created that my team members have not already made.

When I was only working on one project in Projectplace, this workflow worked really well. Now that I work on multiple projects, it does not. When I flip through the e-mails now, the project that I am interested in does not even appear on my screen.

There are other reasons which I would prefer this change in behaviour, but this above is my main one.

This sounds great to me. Thanks for keeping me up to date.
