Yes and No , we have some internal discussions about this, but we should prefer to have a hide/ thaw function.
Archive function is more a function to be used for a complete board when a part of a project can be closed.
So if possible a hide / unhide function in the properties should be great.

Hi Karolina, the hiding of cards that are done (or limit it at least to the last 5 done or so -> configurable, like the max "working on" cards) would be a great help.

Why not go with sprint planning concept?
The first status should always be "Backlog" that is only visible during sprint planning.
And the last column should be divided in Done (during sprint) and Archive (for archiving all cards not needed after a sprint).

The first (Backlog) and last (Archive) column is not to be included in Burndown count.

we are going to work to strengthen the continuous/sprint planning concept during the year - we'll take this as input when we start with that.
