Hi Ola!

What a pain for you:( Unfortunately, there is no possibility to recreate the cards after they have been deleted - that is why we try to make this warning clear before you delete cards.

The history never follows with copied items in Projectplace. This is the same whether you copy a document, folder, card or other item. For consistency we will not change the way we do this for cards.

To avoid this problem in the future I recommend that you move the cards onto the new board instead. I have made a film for you to see how I recommend that you avoid this problem. In the last part I have chosen to hide the board. If you don't need the information, you could of course delete it instead.

Ok, Thank you.
I also called your support yesterday and I got the same answer.

Thank you very much for the film :) I didnt know that you could mark severel Cards :) at a time. I thought I could only move one card at Time.

Is there a way that this can be looked into as it does create a problem.

I've copied boards and cards and when the files, info and comments on the card are lost, it is frustrating.

Moving cards for me is too big of a task due to how we use each board to plan. Ideally, being able to copy a board and keep the information would be perfect as losing the history of comments can cause a problem.

Hopefully this can be addressed?

thank you in advance

Greg

The way our team uses a board is by month. So, each month will have a number of project cards to be completed. For each new month, i copy the board and simply remove any tasks which have been completed.

As the comments on the cards are not copied, you lose the information which is very frustrating.

Do you know if this is something that will be looked in to as it would really help.

thanks

Greg
