Hi, I would like to have access to the projects documents in Windows Explorer. That would speed up the time to find documents that I don't have the name of or if I just want to browse around in the document tree. Especially if I'm a Google Chrome user and has to save the document locally before opening from projectplace.
One solution is to sync the document structure with Projectplace as master and a local folder (could be a shared resource as well I guess) as slave, similar to the dropbox functionality. And to avoid merge and version problems the Windows Explorer integration only has read rights. Most of the time when I search for a document it's for reading. The versioning of documents should be handled by existing projectplace functionality.
Simply put. I would like a tool/integration to open and browse for projectplace documents from windows Explorer.

This is what the WebDAV idea targets for. Go vote for it!

But don't get your hopes up, the original idea was posted 3 years ago and is one of the most popular one, and is still receiving no love from Projectplace....
